The reason that children may enjoy Twilight Princess is based on the fact that Twilight Princess is focused on solving many short puzzles rather than fighting. In this sense, the game seems more like the old PC game Myst, than the original Legend of Zelda in the 1980s. This puzzle solving is great for kids. It also stands in contrast to the violence of many current video games.

However, many teens will dislike Twilight Princess for exactly this reason. The game lacks the fighting that teens enjoy with many games.
